Inflation in producer prices in Iceland reached its highest level in 5 months

Inflation in producer prices in Iceland accelerated to its highest level in five months in November, as evidenced by data from the statistical office of Iceland, published on Friday.
The producer price index rose by 11.7 percent year-on-year in November, which is faster than growth by 8.4 percent in October.
Producer prices in the domestic market increased by 4.9 percent on an annualized basis in November, while prices in the foreign market increased by 15.6 percent.
Prices for products of the energy-intensive industry grew by 16.6 percent, while prices for marine products increased by 15.5 percent.
On a monthly basis, producer prices showed an increase of 3.4 percent in November after an increase of 3.3 percent in October.
