New Zealand's producer purchase price index rose 1.4 percent in the third quarter

The index of producer purchasing prices rose by 1.4 percent on a quarterly basis against 1.0 percent in the previous three-month period, as evidenced by data from the New Zealand Statistical Office, published on Monday.
The producer selling price index increased by 1.5 percent during the quarter, accelerating from the 0.9 percent recorded in the previous three-month period.
On an annualized basis, the producer procurement price index jumped 4.0 percent, while the producer producer price index rose 3.6 percent.
The price index for agricultural expenditures (FEPI) increased by 1.1 percent on a quarterly basis and by 3.8 percent on an annualized basis. The price index for basic commodities (CGPI) increased by 1.2 percent on a quarterly basis and by 3.1 percent on an annualized basis.
