In June, the total transport production in Brazil, including cars, light trucks, trucks and buses, reached 256,305 units, i.е. increased by 20.7%, according to the Brazilian Association of Automobile Manufacturers (Anfavea).
Year on year, total car production increased by 21.1%, and light vehicle production increased by 20.8% compared to June 2017. In the first half of the year, the total production of cars increased by 13.6%, to 1.434 million units and by 12.6% – the production of cars, up to 1.369 million units.
Meanwhile, the total licensing of vehicles in June reached 201,982 thousand units , remaining stable compared to May. YoY, full and light licensing increased by 3.6% and 3.1%, respectively. In the first half of the year, growth was 14.4% for general registrations, 1.188 million vehicles, and 13.7% for light vehicles – up to 1.129 million.
